Alan C. Haspel, DMD
Dr. Haspel grew up in North Miami Beach, Florida and moved to Palm City in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1998. He graduated summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2004 and earned his Florida dental license at that time. During dental school, he served as President of his class and President of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate education, he received multiple academic awards and accolades. Dr. Haspel completed his internship and residency at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From 2004 to 2009, he had the privilege to train with world renowned surgeon, Dr. Robert Marx. Over his last year of training, Dr. Haspel served as chief resident of the department. Upon graduation, he was awarded by the attending faculty as the most competent and artistic surgeon within the entire residency with the “Outstanding Surgical Skills Award.” During his five years with the University of Miami, Dr. Haspel obtained vast experience with exceedingly difficult maxillofacial trauma, pathology and reconstruction cases, as this was an international referral center for the most complex patients. He performed surgery on many patients whose cases made international headlines on The Discovery Channel, CNN, MSN and The Doctors television show. Dr. Haspel is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Haspel obtained additional fellowship experience in Virginia and served as Assistant Professor for Howard University’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Haspel brings to Oral-Facial Surgical Associates and to our dental and medical communities professionalism, integrity and compassion. His first priority is to provide the highest possible level of care for our patients. Dr. Haspel utilizes the most current scientific literature, clinical research and artistry to pursue excellence to that end.
Dr. Haspel lives in Palm City with his wife, Beth and two sons, Jacob and Noah.
