Fantastic staff & Dr. Couldn't improve anything they should be a model to other offices.

I noticed some patients were questioned about finances and their ability to pay in the main and only waiting room. These questions are personal and should be discussed discreetly and in a private area.

MY DENTIST DID NOT WANT TO PULL MY TOOTH BECAUSE IT HAD BROKE OFF AT THE GUM LINE, SO HE ADVISED THAT I SHOULD GO TO A ORAL -FACIAL SURGICAL/DENTAL IMPLANT CENTER. I MADE MY APPOINTMENT AND ARRIVED ON TIME. I WAS WELCOMED BY A SMILING YOUNG LADY. SHE TOOK MY INFO AND I WAITED TO GO BACK TO HAVE THE TOOTH PULLED. AFTER WAITING A FEW SECONDS I WAS TAKEN TO A ROOM FOR THE TOOTH TO BE REMOVED. DR. STRAUSS ADVISED THAT I SHOULD BE PUT TO SLEEP BECAUSE THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM REMOVING THE TOOTH. I ASKED DR. J. STRAUSS TO TRY AND REMOVE THE TOOTH WITHOUT PUTTING ME TO SLEEP. DR. J. STRAUSS REMOVED THE TOOTH WITHOUT ANY PAIN AND NO STRESS ON ME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST AND HIS STAFF. NOTE: THE OFFICE,WAITING ROOM AND ROOM I WAS IN ARE VERY CLEAN.

I am truly grateful to Dr. James Strauss for his common sense approach to my problem and for taking whatever time was necessary to explain my options. My emergency extraction of an abscessed molar and subsequent implant procedure with two follow up visits has convinced me that Dr. Strauss and his entire staff have provided nothing less than the utmost professionalism, honesty and compassion. Dr. Strauss is obviously a highly skilled oral surgeon who cares deeply for his patients and will do what is in their best interest at the most reasonable cost. I am extremely thankful to find such a truly caring and talented professional to trust with my care and will recommend him to others confidently.

My husband and I were somewhat panicked, when we were having lunch and a back crown broke at gum level. It was December 29th and we were leaving for Peru December 30th. We contacted the Oral-Facial Surgical office in Stuart, after discovering our dentist's office was closed for the holidays. The staff and Dr. Strauss at Oral-Facial Surgical Assoc. could not have been better or more accommodating. They gave us an appointment for 2:45 PM the same day, and x-rays showed extraction was required. The procedure took approximately 45 minutes. Before we left the office an assistant explained the follow up care for the wound. Unfortunately, there was a lot of bleeding and I had to get in touch with the office at 5:45 PM. The attentive support was superb. "Ali" I believe was still working, and after listening to my concerns, connected me with the after hour emergency doctor. He walked me through the steps of using a Tea Bag wrapped in gauze and applying pressure directly to the wound, which did stop the profuse bleeding after 40 minutes. ( Seems we weren't putting pressure directly on the wound, which is necessary). The same doctor called me that evening to make sure all was okay, and again this morning, which I found astounding. Bravo to this excellent facility, the staff and doctors are excellent. Thank You!

Such a freindly staff and ultra organized office making the entire experience from beginning to end actually Fun ,Dr James Strauss really knows his stuff and is totally Awesome .
